If you’ve ever been to the Apak Group HQ in Bristol, UK, you may have visited a specific corner of the ground floor which is home to Marketing, Sales, HR, Accounts and our EVP James Powell. You may also know we like to keep the little part of the office that we call home fairly bright and cheery, with our pineapple bunting and resident gnomes part of the everyday décor!
Currently, though, our poor gnomes (who were already the victims of several games of “gnome bowling” at our last Summit) are homeless, having been displaced due to our latest exciting delivery taking up every available nook and cranny!
We’ve made the gnomes temporarily homeless for good reason though. We’ve recently teamed up with HydrateM8 to offer all our staff globally the opportunity to make a positive impact on the environment and maintain their wellbeing whilst in the office.
All existing employees and all new joiners going forward will be issued with one of HydrateM8’s highly popular Hydration Tracker Water Bottles with the aim of helping staff drink more water, as well as significantly cut our consumption of single-use plastic bottles and cups as a company.
