About the role:

On offer is the opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated software developer to join our talented development team delivering cutting edge finance applications that run on desktop and mobile devices.

You will be involved in the full software development life-cycle from analysis and design through to development, testing and deployment.

Daily responsibilities of the role are varied and will include working on projects developing entirely new areas of functionality, enhancing existing functionality, bug fixing, maintenance and technical customer support.

As a software developer in our team you will be expected to work closely with our customer relationship management and customer support teams to deliver the high levels of service our customers have come to expect.

Some of the technologies that we use day to day: Microsoft .NET, JavaScript, React, SQL Server, Document Databases, Cloud (Docker and Kubernetes), REST/SOAP APIs.

Key skills and experience:

  • Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: C#, Java, C/C++, Objective C, Python, JavaScript
  • Experience in web application security and OWASP best practices
  • Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL
  • Ability to work under your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Experience with and knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
  • Good problem-solving, analytical skills and an eye for detail · Confident interacting with customers as well as internal stakeholders
  • A high standard of verbal and written English

Advantageous skills and experience:

  • Experience in a commercial software development environment
  • Experience with Cloud technologies
