Position: Service Desk Technician
Location: Yate, North Bristol
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: rotating shift pattern through Monday to Sunday, which will consist of 2-day shifts on, 1 day off, 2-night shifts on, 3 days off.
Salary: £23k per annum

About the role:
We are looking for a passionate individual to become part of a small friendly Service Desk team. This is an exciting entry level opportunity to work for an established business with a great reputation within the marketplace. In this role, you will be working to support our clients by carrying out time-critical checks on computer software and processes whilst delivering efficient telephone support. You will also handle daily computer security and help resolve system alerts, liaising with teams across the company.
To be successful in this role ideally you should have previous IT service desk experience, however, this is not essential, and we are open to applications to those with a passion for IT and high-quality customer service.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products and operating systems is important. Some experience with Linux operating systems and/or Oracle database would be useful but not essential. You’ll also need to be a good team player, but comfortable with working alone at times under pressure. You’ll also need to be a good team player.
If you have previous IT service desk experience, experience with Linux operating systems and/or Oracle database would be useful along with knowledge of security and health and safety protocols they would love to hear from you.
You may have experience of the following: Service Desk Technician, 1st Line Support, Helpdesk, Service Desk Technician, Helpdesk Technician, 2nd Line, IT Support Engineer, Systems Administrator, Network Engineer, etc.
