APAK provides licensed data from Royal Mail to be used in conjunction with our address validation software or as the address data solution for your own application software. Our data products may be supplied for mainframe, mid-range or PC environments.

Postcode Address File (PAF)

The Royal Mail Postcode Address File (PAF) is a data file containing all UK postal addresses, covering approximately 26.6 million delivery points, 1.7 million postcodes and 1.56 million businesses. PAF is a dynamic file so, for companies who need the most up to date data available, the Quarterly or Monthly PAF Supply guarantees that your addressing system runs to its full potential.

A cut-down version of PAF - "Thoroughfare Data" - is available for Rapid Addressing solutions for postcode verification. This provides a cost-effective alternative to the full PAF, and reduces the amount of disc space occupied by the data.

Our "GEOVIS" data offering, combines two data files to offer a solution for customers who wish to use their own software to access the UK data. It provides a simple data solution for your e-commerce development or in-house designed applications.

The "Postzon" file contains the grid reference information for all PAF Postcodes, and consists of Northing and Easting co-ordinates for each postcode. A useful tool for utility companies and delivery services, Postzon data may also be used in your proximity software or 'nearest outlet' web application design.

Bank Sort Code Data

Bank sort code data is used by organisations within the financial services industries to verify bank details against a given sort code.
