Aston Martin goes live with Sword Apak’s Wholesale Finance System (WFS)
Aston Martin has gone live with Sword Apak’s market leading wholesale finance system, WFS. The new software replaces the existing manual processing system, providing a fully automated and streamlined stock funding application.
As a result of volume growth and expansion into new markets, Aston Martin’s Sales Operations Department evaluated existing business processes in order to decide which could be automated to deliver improvements. WFS was identified as offering a professional solution to enable efficiency improvements in the back office as well as offering Aston Martin’s Dealer Network much improved visibility of vehicle transactions.

Implementing WFS has helped the company to achieve this goal by providing its dealers with up to date views of inventory, available credit, vehicle detail and history, allowing them to manage their own accounts”.
Efficiency savings from the WFS implementation will allow Aston Martin to extend its existing wholesale finance programme to North American dealers, where access to the web based facility will be available later in 2007. This forms part of a staged roll out plan that will see Sword Apak’s software implemented as a global solution by the end of 2007. Sophisticated multi-currency functionality within WFS allows Aston Martin to support local dealer currencies in multiple countries.
